SKIN BRUSHING

  • Done with a dry natural fibre brush
  • In a showerstall or outdoors (it is a dirty dusty job)

PROCEDURE:

Done in your birth costume or in the nude. Brush entire body from head to toe every morning before showering.

OUTDOOR BRUSHING in wintertime requires an absolutely warm body specifically warm feet therefore, wear footwear. The temperature can be -25 degrees Celsius with clear sky and plenty of sunshine, however, there should be no wind or draft of any kind. Always face the sun and breathe deeply in through the nose and exhale through the mouth. Keep a life embracing positive attitude as you brush. After two (2) to five (5) minutes of brushing, you may be so happily stimulated that rolling in the snow becomes the ultimate desire. To avoid injuries ensure that there is at least 12 inches of soft fluffy clean snow to roll in. Make sure you do not touch metal with bare skin. All good exciting experiences will come to an end sooner or later.

Upon returning inside have a brief shower. Use a large fluffy towel to dry. Fold the towel lengthwise to a width of approximately 6 inches wide and rub the entire body vigorously using both hands. Your heart rate should reach about 120 beats per minute and decline to normal within the next two minutes.

CAUTION: make sure you feel well and that there is no stimulation from street drugs, alcohol, coffee/tea, medication. After serious illness or an operation consult your health care practitioner and if you get the green light start slowly. Do not brush wounds or areas with psoriasis, excema or similar skin conditions. Varicose veins should be done lightly or not at all depending on the severity of the condition.

After 30 days you will have established for yourself a very beneficial habit that becomes automatic. Once the habit is established you will not be able to do without it.
